When might a Valley home need a panel upgrade?
Additional equipment can change a home’s electrical demand, but its age alone does not establish the service rating or available capacity. We review the actual installation and proposed loads. A subpanel can add circuit space; it does not increase the capacity of the existing service. A load calculation and equipment assessment help determine which changes are needed.

Does my Valley address use LADWP or Edison?
Check the electricity provider shown on the property’s bill and confirm service requirements with that utility. LADWP serves many Los Angeles communities, while SCE and municipal utilities serve other nearby areas. A mailing city or neighborhood name alone does not verify the provider or equipment responsibilities. We can review the proposed service work once the property and utility are confirmed.
