Electrical work for publicly funded projects
Our public-works experience includes electrical work on a publicly funded school project. Share the agency, drawings, specifications and schedule so we can review the electrical scope and our role on the project. Ai Builders Electric holds CSLB license #1033090 and DIR registration #1000060370.
Plan documentation with the installation
We review prevailing-wage classifications, certified payroll, apprenticeship requirements and project reporting alongside the electrical work. Bid documents and the agreed contract establish the applicable requirements, responsibilities and submission schedule.
Working inside a public schedule
We coordinate installation with the construction schedule, other trades and inspection milestones. On occupied sites, access, interruptions and any phased work belong in the project plan. Drawing questions and equipment requirements should be resolved before installation.
Common questions
Are you registered with the DIR?
Yes — registration is a prerequisite for bidding or being listed on a public works project in California, and it is checked by the awarding body. Our CSLB license is 1033090 and our DIR registration is 1000060370. We will provide current proof of both, along with workers' compensation certificates, with any bid.
Can you act as the electrical sub under our general contract?
Yes. Send the awarding agency, drawings, specifications and schedule so we can review the electrical subcontract scope. The proposal identifies the installation work, coordination and required project documentation.
How is certified payroll reporting coordinated?
We review the project’s certified-payroll and recordkeeping requirements before the work begins. Reporting responsibilities, submission procedures and deadlines belong in the agreed project plan. Share the bid documents so those requirements can be identified with the electrical scope.

BEFORE WE QUOTE THE WORK
Plan documentation alongside installation
Read the contract early
Drawings, specifications, labor requirements, submittals and reporting affect scope and scheduling. Prevailing-wage and certified-payroll obligations depend on the project. Confirm the applicable requirements rather than treating every contract alike.
Track closeout during construction
Equipment approvals, inspections, testing and as-built records belong in the work plan. Utility coordination and shutdown approvals can affect the schedule. Align responsibilities with the general contractor and owner before mobilizing.
